The Lord knows us...

Has this not been my theme for the last three years. I knew we were suppose to move to Utah, the day we decided that we would make some other kind of move either to Arizona or back to California a special event occurred that made me realize (again) the Lord knows us each individually. I am not sure that we followed every prompting to the tee, but I do know now that we are meant to be back right where we are. Being in the Temple with our Stake and some comments of our Stake President again, affirmed to me that the Lord knows each of us individually. It is not fun being cramped up in our little house, or figuring out how I can enjoy my children going to public school here. But I do know that for some reason we are back, and the Lord knows that we will see that reason in time. How much time...probably not in my timetable but more the Lords. I just hope we can learn whatever we are suppose to in a positive way. So my calling in the Ward is a Family History Consultant, which I was hoping it would be just some little helper calling, but at Stake Conference, every member of the stake present sustained each ward FHC, High Priest group leader, High Councilor, and the Family History Directors to sustain and support them in their calling in which the stake is moving forward with lots of emphasis on Family history. He even had the youth 12-18 stand up and we sustained to help them become leaders in their families to work on family history. It was an amazing meeting. So suffice it to say I think I don't have a small calling. I hope that I can have the Spirit with me to help those in our ward, fulfill their commitment to the "will of the Lord". So was this part of the reason to move back. Because a week ago I didn't think I was going to be very good at this calling and well now, I need to change my outlook and know that Heaven is going to help along with the rest of our stake. I hope that I will be able to get to the Temple often. Because that really is one of the things I miss most about Stansbury a light 23 mile drive to the Temple.
