Sunshine Girl


The house was just so normal,
before you blew right through,
A smile and some sunshine,
is what you brought with you.

Your laughter and your dancing,
your perfect piano hand,
brought sunshine,
and a smile to our little band.

The playing and the changing,
was what we looked forward to,
We always knew where the sunshine flowed,
for it followed you.

So when we see the sunshine,
through the clouds of night,
we know that you are watching us,
to help us see the Light.

And as we know you paint the sky,
with rainbows sent from God,
A promise that he gave to all,
a token of his love.

We look through all the sunshine,
and feel your precious love.
And thankfully we say to God
"take care our little one".

For on this day that you were born,
God gave us what he could,
A fine little princess girl
to change our lives for good.

Happy Birthday to our little niece, Emily, who waits for us in Heaven.
