2011

I felt like I should just post that I am still here and hope that 2011 will be a wonderful year full of exciting things. My dad passed away on December 17, 2010 and that kind of threw my end of the year into a sad state. But as always life and time roll on. I am not sure that anybody really reads this blog, but just in case someone does here are some things we can look forward to in 2011...

In January, I will start my second semester at LDS Business College. I loved my first semester and received 3 "A" grades and then to my surprise an A+ who knew I could still use my brain and write papers. I was also asked to teach a class at the College, I was not going to say anything because I did not want to jinks it but it starts next week so it might really happen. It is an amazing class that will help anyone with Learning. It is focused on inviting and using the Spirit of the Lord to help you learn, as well as the wonderful blessing that it is to be a student at LDS Business College and the great love and support that the Apostles and Prophet have about education. And the Lord's desire for his children to be lifelong learners. I feel so privileged to have been asked to teach and that I actually get to do it. WOW!

In February, Kyle will have his 8th birthday. Tell me, it can't really be 8 years since I had my little guy. We are surly entering a new stage of life all our kids baptized and closer to a mission than diapers. He should be baptized in March but we have not heard the official word from the Primary.

I hope that our family will take a vacation to a warm destination in April, the kids have a week off and I have a break before summer semester. The month of May will bring Steven's promotion to High School, not something I really want to think about having a High School child, but I am sure football and other things will keep our summer pretty busy. (We are hoping that Steven will be working on his Eagle project this summer also).

Dave and I will celebrate 17 years of marriage. That sounds crazy too. Time really has gone by.

Lizzie will be an official teenager and Robert will turn 11. September will be a fun birthday filled month for us.

October will be filled with Friday night football games I think?? We will be wearing Blue. November and December will keep us busy with holidays and school work.

I am looking forward to a New Year. It will be filled with lots of memories and maybe some will appear "on the blog" Football games will be presented for sure.

I hope that whoever is reading the blog will have a wonderful year, blessed by the Lord and that you will have comfort and peace all year long.

Samantha
