I have not blogged for awhile. Summer was fast and we did not do very much, since I was going to school. Robert and Kyle did four weeks of swim lessons, and Rob is set that he will be getting a job in five years as a life guard. He already said he will help with the rent. Grandma's rent too. He is such a nice boy. He also played baseball and made it to the all-star team. He made some new fiends for the summer, and made up with his old friends now that football is on.
Kyle went from a level 3 swimmer to a level 5 swimmer in one summer. His card said "Such a little guy, but he passed to level five" I am actually glad that I did not buy him very many clothes he has grown quite a bit just in the last month. He seems like he may even be taller than Steven one day!
Lizzie's Birthday is tomorrow! She is going to play soccer again! She really likes writing and is going to be in a writing club at school I just hope that she can find a friend to get a ride home with, her club ends at 3:45 and I need to be in Salt Lake at 4PM. It will work out. It is hard to believe that she is 13, she has changed alot this last year and we are happy to see that purple and some pink have made it back into her wardrobe.
Steven started High School and he likes chatting on facebook with a cute Cheerleader. He is the starting center for the football team and hopes to be able to play on the basketball team. He is singing in the men's choir, and is in the Intro to TV broadcasting class. We may see him online one day, as the anchor for Stallions TV. I think he likes High School I can only hope he keeps up on his assignments.
Dave and I are doing well, he is now the second counselor in the Young Men's program in our ward. He has also been travelling alot this summer, he is such a hard worker. He does like his job but somehow I need to convince him to go to college and get a degree in something, anything, basket weaving hehe. I am starting my last year at the BC. I just need 5 classes and my internship to finish. But two of the classes are on Thursday Nights and I would not be with my group so I will take those classes in the Winter along with my internship. I cannot express so much in words, how being at the BC has been a blessing in our lives. I love it there. The faculty and staff are awesome and so caring. It is an amazing place. I hope that Steven and Lizzie will both take the chance to at least spend a summer semester there as students before going on to a University.
So this is my random blog tonight, my house is cool from fallish air and I am excited to still be blogging and living. We are blessed everyday. Happy September!
Samantha
